Albany, NY (May 28, 2019) – While the exact cause of the fatal motorcycle crash that took place on Sunday evening, May 28th, remains under investigation, police have now released the name of the victim. The deadly crash occurred on Route 85 at approximately 7:00 p.m.
According to authorities, the victim has now been identified as 26-year-old Jason Mentor, of Albany. Mentor had been driving his motorcycle when he crashed just west of Lincoln Avenue. Paramedics were called to the scene, where Mentor was tragically pronounced dead. It is still believed that the victim may have lost control of the bike for one of several possible reasons at this time.
Police are working to confirm whether or not Mentor was the only party involved, as no further information has been provided.
