Massena, NY: Man Arrested for Repeated Rape of Child Under 11

Massena, NY (May 27, 2019) – A St. Lawrence County grand jury has officially charged a man from Massena with the repeated rape of a child under 11-years-old as of Sunday, May 26th. Authorities stated that 22-year-old Sawyer E. White, of 41 Somerset Avenue, has been charged with three counts of first-degree rape and three counts of predatory sexual assault, as well as endangering the welfare of a child.
White has been charged for three separate incidents that were reported to have occurred in the village of Massena. The first incident took place around August 2018, when White allegedly had forcible sexual intercourse with a 10-year-old girl.
The indictment alleges that White repeatedly engaged in the same crime against the same victim again in August and then again in September. No further information has been provided concerning the allegations or the charges against the suspect.
