Albany, NY: Police Investigating Motorcycle Crash; Killed 26yr Man

Albany, NY (May 27, 2019) – The events that caused a fatal motorcycle crash on Monday morning, May 27^th, are currently under investigation by police. Authorities stated that the deadly crash took place along Route 85 for unknown reasons.

According to authorities, the 26-year-old male operator of a motorcycle crashed his vehicle just a little west of the Lincoln Avenue exit. Paramedics were among the responders called to the scene, where the man was tragically pronounced deceased due to his injuries. At this time, it is believed that the victim lost control for one of several possible reasons.

Police are actively working to confirm whether or not the motorcycle was the only vehicle involved, as no further information has been released. Authorities have not yet provided the identity of the victim in order to allow time to notify loved ones.
