Dryden, NY (May 26, 2019) – The Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that they arrested one person in connection to a fatal car accident that occurred last week.
The incident took place on Livermore Road, around 3:39 a.m., on Wednesday. The driver, 21-year-old Annabelle Liz, was driving along when she suddenly went off the side of the road and struck a tree.
There was a passenger in the vehicle identified as 26-year-old Glennys Cordero. Both Cordero and Liz were taken to the Upstate Medical Center with injuries but, unfortunately, Cordero was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
Since then, Liz has been charged with DWI, second-degree vehicular manslaughter, unsafe lane changes, and speeding.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
