Yorktown, NY: Three Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on State Pkwy

Yorktown, NY (May 25, 2019) – Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash that took place on the Taconic State Parkway around 9:06 p.m. on May 21st.
At the time, a woman was driving her Mercedes at a high rate of speed when she went around a curve and lost control of her vehicle. She then struck a Honda SUV when she entered back into the roadway. Her vehicle then rolled over and one of her passengers was ejected from the vehicle.
The person who was ejected was injured but, luckily, did not suffer life-threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle, as well as the other passenger, were also hospitalized with minor injuries.
Nobody in the Honda was injured. The driver of the Mercedes received several tickets.
The crash snarled traffic for two hours. The investigation into the accident continues at this time.
