Staten Island: Man Accused of Sexual Abuse of Child

Staten Island, NY (May 23, 2019) – According to an indictment that was recently filed by prosecutors, a West Brighton man is accused of sexually abusing a young girl under the age of 11. 22-year-old Job Grant-Cobham, of the 300 block of Broadway, has been charged for incidents that were reported to have occurred around four years ago in April and June of 2015.
The indictment alleges that Grant-Cobham subjected the child to sexual abuse by touching her private parts both under and over her clothing while pleasuring himself. On Wednesday, May 22nd, the suspect pleaded not guilty to charges of sexual abuse, forcible touching, and endangering the welfare of a child.
Grant-Cobham is currently being held without bail as he awaits an appearance in state Supreme Court in St. George.
