Brighton, NY: One person Hurt in Vehicle Collision on Highway 96

Brighton, NY (May 22, 2019) – A motor vehicle accident with injuries took place along Highway 96 and resulted in at least minor injuries on Wednesday, May 22nd, according to police. Authorities stated that the crash occurred at approximately 2:51 p.m. for reasons that are actively being investigated.
According to officials, the collision, which is presently believed to have involved no more than two vehicles, happened in both the north and southbound lanes of Highway 96 at Highway 441. Emergency medical responders were promptly dispatched to the scene of the crash, where they were able to confirm that at least one person suffered injuries. However, the seriousness of those injuries has not been reported at this time.
Police have not released any information regarding the events that led to the crash or how many people were involved. No further details have been released at this time.
