Shinnecock Hills, NY: Collision on County Rd 39- Minor Injuries

Shinnecock Hills, NY (May 21, 2019) – A collision between two vehicles took place at the intersection of County Road 39 and Hills Station Road, resulting in at least minor injuries. The accident was reported to have occurred at approximately 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 18th.
According to Southampton Town Police, 17-year-old Ricardo Sobrevinas, of Southampton, was traveling along County Road 39 when he collided with a vehicle being operated by 75-year-old Stewart Mead, of Flanders. The force of the collision caused Mead’s vehicle to overturn as police and paramedics were dispatched to the scene shortly afterward.
Emergency medical crews transported Sobrevinas to Stony Brook Southampton Hospital with injuries that are currently believed to be relatively minor. Mead was reported to have been unharmed in the crash and no other parties were involved.
