Rochester, NY (May 19, 2019) – Around 4:00 a.m. this morning, May 19th, a Rochester woman was injured in a hit-and-run crash that took place on Norton Street.
Rochester Police officials were called to the scene to find that the 28-year-old victim had been walking along on Norton Street when she was suddenly struck by the mirror of a passing vehicle.
The vehicle was described by witnesses as a Nissan Altima, which had been headed eastbound on Norton at the time. The victim was injured and hospitalized at the Rochester General Hospital but is expected to be okay.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.
