Mahopac, NY – School Bus Crash on Baldwin Place Road with Four Injured

Mahopac, NY (May 18, 2019) – Around 2:30 p.m. on Friday, May 17, police responded to the scene of a school bus crash on Baldwin Place Road that hospitalized four people.

Various departments including the Mahopac Falls Volunteer Fire Department, EMS, and Fire Police were all called to the scene for assistance in the midst of the crash.

Police are not yet sure what caused the school bus and another vehicle to collide, but they discovered that the accident occurred when school was letting out at the Mahopac High School.

A total of 24 people, including the driver from the bus, was brought to the nurse to be evaluated. Four were transported to a local hospital to be treated. Police do not know how serious their injuries were.

At this time, the accident is being investigated in full.
