Mahopac, NY: Car Accident Leads to Hospitalization on West Lake Blvd

Mahopac, NY (May 18, 2019) – Around 8:15 p.m. on Friday, May 17, a car accident took place on West Lake Boulevard that led to serious injuries and the hospitalization of one person.
Various emergency services were called to the scene of the accident including volunteer fire companies, EMS, Heavy Rescue, and more. West Lake Boulevard between Lake Mahopac and Kirk Lake were closed for several hours as police worked at the scene.
Police and other emergency services were able to pull one occupant from one of the badly damaged vehicles and transported them to the hospital by ambulance.
The road was quickly opened to traffic. The investigation into the accident continues.
