Dannemora, NY: Car Accident on State Route 374 Sends One to Hospital

Dannemora, NY (May 18, 2019) – Police responded to the scene of a car accident that took place on State Route 374 and sent an Ellenburg Depot man to the hospital.
State Police confirmed that 26-year-old Matthew Timmons had been driving his Dodge Ram north on the roadway when he was involved in an accident and struck a mailbox. He tried to correct his vehicle, which caused him to strike a garage.
Police say that nobody except Timmons received injuries in the accident. Timmons received arm injuries. He is expected to recover.
Police continue their investigation into the accident at this time.
