Beekman, NY – Local Man Arrested for Child Pornography

Beekman, NY (May 17, 2019) – On Thursday, May 16, New York State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks announced that they had arrested a man for possession of child pornography. 52-year-old Eric J. Buckley, of Beekman, was taken into custody for the class E felony of possessing a sexual performance by a child.
The arrested was reported to have followed the execution of a search warrant that took place on Tuesday, May 14. The warrant was granted after a joint investigation that was conducted by the SP Poughkeepsie Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the Troop K Computers Crime Unit. Following a thorough analysis of the evidence that was collected, Buckley was placed under arrest.
The suspect was arraigned in the Town of Pleasant Valley Court and ultimately remanded to Dutchess County jail. Buckley is being held on $15,000 cash bail or $30,000 bond and is due back in court on May 21.
