Rochester, NY (May 17, 2019) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured along the Inner Loop in the city of Rochester on Thursday night, May 16, leaving investigators looking into what caused the crash. The accident was stated to have taken place at around 9:00 p.m. in the vicinity of State Street.
According to State Police, two motor vehicles were along the shoulder of the roadway when the motorcyclist crashed into one of them for unknown reasons. Emergency medical responders were promptly dispatched to the scene where they transported the injured biker to a nearby hospital. The victim was seriously injured but currently expected to survive at this time.
It is unclear as to whether or not the owners of the parked vehicles will be issued any tickets as police are actively conducting a thorough investigation into the official cause of the accident. No one else was injured and no further details have been released.
