East Rochester, NY: Collision on West Comm. St Results in Injuries

East Rochester, NY (May 16, 2019) – A motor vehicle accident with injuries occurred on Thursday afternoon, May 16th, and resulted in the presence of both police and paramedics at the scene. Authorities stated that the collision took place at approximately 4:45 p.m. along West Commercial Street for reasons that have not been verified.
According to police, responders were summoned to the area of West Commercial Street, in both the east and westbound lanes at McKinley Street, to assist any injured parties. After arriving at the crash site, emergency crews were able to confirm that at least one person had suffered injuries due to the impact of the collision. However, there has been no word regarding the seriousness of those injuries.
At this time, police have not stated how many people were involved in the collision, although no more than two vehicles are believed to have played a part. The events that caused this accident are actively being investigated.
