Dryden, NY – Bronx Woman Killed in Car Crash on Livermore Road

Dryden, NY (May 15, 2019) – According to police, a woman who was the passenger in a vehicle tragically died after becoming involved in an accident that also left the driver injured early Wednesday morning, May 15th. Authorities stated that the crash took place at approximately 3:40 a.m. along Livermore Road.
Tompkins County deputies were dispatched to the scene of the crash where police stated that the driver of an unspecified vehicle went off the aforementioned roadway for unknown reasons. The vehicle had been traveling north and struck a tree off the shoulder of the road, resulting in serious injuries to both occupants.
Emergency medical crews transported both the unidentified driver and one passenger, 26-year-old Glennys Alandra Cordero, of the Bronx, to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse. Cordero was sadly pronounced dead a short time later but there has been no word on the condition of the driver.
Livermore Road was shut down between Livermore Crossing and Bahar Drive for a crash investigation, which is ongoing at this time.
