LeRoy, NY (May 14, 2019) – A woman was tragically killed in a motor vehicle accident that took place on Monday night, May 13th. The fatal crash was reported to have occurred at the intersection of Route 19 and Randall Road at approximately 7:30 p.m.
According to police, 77-year-old Bonnie Dean, of Churchville, was traveling south on Route 19 when she attempted to pass a vehicle and collided head-on with an oncoming SUV. The SUV was being driven by 56-year-old Penne Vincent, of Fairport, who suffered injuries as a result of the impact.
Emergency medical crews were called to the scene, where they sadly pronounced Dean deceased and transported Vincent to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Vincent has been stated to be in satisfactory condition at this time, as the collision remains under investigation.
