Lancaster, NY: Woman Killed During Accident on William Street

Lancaster, NY (May 14, 2019) – Shortly before 10:00 p.m. on Monday, May 13th, a woman from the town of Akron was reported to have sadly lost her life in a motor vehicle accident that also left one person injured. The crash took place along William Street for reasons that continue to be investigated at this time.
According to police, a vehicle was traveling westbound on William Street when it veered into the other lane and may have overcorrected, subsequently rolling over numerous times. Whether or not another vehicle had anything to do with the events that led to the crash has not been reported.
Emergency medical crews accompanied police at the scene, where one victim, identified only as a 41-year-old woman, was sadly pronounced dead. A 47-year-old victim was promptly rushed to Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo. However, the condition of that victim has not been stated. No further details have been provided.
