Flatbush, Brooklyn, NY – Worker Injured After Fall from Billboard

Flatbush, Brooklyn, NY (May 14, 2019) – Authorities stated that a worker was injured in an accident while performing duties on Tuesday morning, May 14th. According to police, the unidentified worker fell from a billboard at around 10:30 a.m. and subsequently suffered at least minor injuries.
A spokesperson for the FDNY stated that the incident occurred while the victim was working at the corner of Flatbush Avenue and Church Avenue. A large emergency response was confirmed to have arrived at the scene shortly after the incident, and the worker was quickly transported to a local hospital for treatment.
According to the Department of Buildings, the injuries suffered by the victim are currently believed to be relatively minor and they are currently being treated. No further information has been made available, as the investigation into this incident is ongoing.
