Brentwood, NY – Person Hurt After Tree Falls on Moving Vehicle

Brentwood, NY (May 13, 2019) – Police stated that a bizarre accident involving a falling tree and an unspecified vehicle resulted in injuries to the driver of the vehicle on Sunday afternoon, May 12^th. According to authorities, the incident happened when a tree fell and managed to strike a moving car around 2:40 p.m.

Emergency medical crews were dispatched to the scene of the incident after the tree hit the car involved along Brentwood Road. A portion of the tree was reported to have crashed through the windshield, injuring the driver. At this time, there has been no report of whether or not the injured party was hospitalized. However, the driver’s injuries appear to have been isolated mostly to their hands.
