Southampton, NY: Three People Injured in Four-Car Crash on Road 39

Southampton, NY (May 13, 2019) – A four-vehicle collision that left three people with at least minor injuries caused the closure of County Road 39, near Shrubland Road, on Monday morning, May 13th. According to police, the accident took place around 8:15 a.m. for reasons that have not been determined at this time.
Authorities stated that no more than four vehicles are believed to have been involved in the collision that left the road closed for a little more than one hour. Emergency medical crews were called to the scene where they transported three people to Stony Brook Southampton Hospital with various injuries. Neither the exact conditions nor identities of the victims involved have been made available.
At this time, no further information has been released. The events that led to this incident are currently being investigated by police.
