Perinton, NY – One Dead After Fatal Fire on Chesfield Lookout

Perinton, NY (May 12, 2019) – Police confirmed that yesterday around midnight, a fatal fire took place when a fire broke out at a house on Chesfield Lookout. Deputies and fire departments all over responded to the incident immediately.
Residents recalled that they woke up to smoke in their home. Firefighters immediately arrived and worked to contain the fire to most of an upstairs bedroom.
Investigators have been taking a closer look at the circumstances of the fire only to find that it does not appear to be suspicious. Only one person was killed in the fire and police have not confirmed the identity of the individual at this time.
Various fire crews responded to the fire. The full investigation into the incident continues at this time.
