Huntington Station, NY (May 12, 2019) – On Saturday, around 4:45 p.m., police responded to the scene of a car crash at the intersection of East Rogues Path and Lodge Avenue to find that two men were injured.
At the time, police say that 32-year-old Aleen Sevadijan was driving a Honda CR-V west on East Rogues, trying to make a left turn at the intersection, when he was suddenly rear-ended by a Ford F-550 driven by 21-year-old Josue Menjivacruz.
Menjivacruz was airlifted to the Stony Brook University Hospital with a variety of serious injuries but is expected to be okay. Sevadijan was also hospitalized but his injuries were considered to be minor.
The vehicles were impounded for safety checks and the investigation into the accident continues.
