Brentwood, NY – Firefighter Injured in House Fire on Sherman Street

Brentwood, NY (May 12, 2019) – Officials responded to the scene of a house fire that took place around 1:30 a.m. this morning on Sherman Street and injured one.
According to authorities and other emergency responders at the scene of the fire, a firefighter received injuries during the incident. Arson investigators were also called to the scene so that they could investigate the circumstances of the incident.
Officials say that the firefighter has been taken to the hospital for injuries. At this time, they have not confirmed how badly the firefighter has been injured.
Nobody else received injuries and the investigation into the accident continues at this time.
