Rochester, NY – Scooter Accident with Serious Injuries on Mt. Hope Avenue

Rochester, NY (May 11, 2019) – Around 3:20 p.m. on Mt. Hope Avenue, a Rochester man was struck in a serious scooter accident. The accident caused potentially serious injuries.
At the time of the accident, a driver was waiting to turn left from southbound Mt. Hope into a parking lot. A northbound vehicle stopped so that the southbound driver could make their turn.
A 56-year-old man on a motor scooter then came from behind the northbound vehicle and passed it. This caused him to strike the other vehicle making their turn.
The scooter driver was seriously injured and issued two tickets. Nobody else was injured in the accident.
The investigation into the crash continues at this time.
