Yorktown, NY (May 10, 2019) – A two-vehicle crash along Route 118 left four people injured on Friday morning, May 10th. According to police, the collision took place around 6:00 a.m. for reasons that have not been verified at this time.
Police officials stated that the accident happened on Route 118, between Hanover Street and Route 129, and resulted in the closure of the road for over four hours. Emergency medical crews were quickly dispatched to the scene, along with police, to assist the injured parties and evaluate the damages.
According to authorities, one person sustained serious, although non-life threatening, injuries, while three others complained about possible fractures and general pain. All four injured parties were promptly taken to nearby hospitals. Police are currently investigating the events that led to this collision.
