Mount Vernon, NY – 9-Year-Old Boy Hit and Killed by Vehicle

Mount Vernon, NY (May 9, 2019) – According to officials, a 9-year-old boy was tragically struck and killed by a motor vehicle on Wednesday night, May 8^th, for reasons that have not been confirmed at this time. Police stated that an unspecified vehicle struck the boy on an unidentified roadway.

Authorities have not specified the time of the accident or the name of the road but identified the victim as a fourth-grade student at Graham Elementary School in Mount Vernon. Emergency medical crews were called to the scene of the collision but were sadly unable to save the child.
