Harlem, Manhattan, NY – Crash Involving School Bus Leaves Several Injured

Harlem, Manhattan, NY (May 8, 2019) – A traffic collision involving a school bus was reported to have occurred on Wednesday morning, May 8th, and resulted in several injured victims. According to dispatchers, a call came in concerning the crash around 7:10 a.m., which prompted emergency responders to the scene on Harlem River Drive in the vicinity of 138th Street.
Authorities stated that the collision took place between a white car and a school bus in the southbound lanes of Harlem River Drive. Emergency medical crews were at the crash site and able to confirm that several injuries resulted from the impact of the accident. However, it is currently unknown as to whether or not any children were on board the bus at the time.
Police currently believe that no other vehicles were involved, and the cause of the collision is actively being investigated. No further information has been provided.
