Orchard Park, NY: Hairdresser Arrested for Molestation of 14yr Boy

Orchard Park, NY (May 7, 2019) – According to authorities in Orchard Park, a 68-year-old hairdresser has been accused of molesting a teenage boy while the minor was having his hair done on Friday night, May 3th. Orchard Park Police stated that the incident occurred at Michael’s Salon, located on Buffalo Road, at an unspecified time during the evening hours.
According to authorities, police were called to the aforementioned location to investigate a complaint involving a 14-year-old male customer who had been sexually assaulted at the establishment by one of the hairdressers. After being called to the scene, police arrested 68-year-old Stephen Savaglio, of Lackawanna, and charged him with second-degree criminal sex act, forcible touching, and endangering the welfare of a child, according to authorities.
Savaglio has been arraigned and released from custody without bail but is due back in court on Friday, May 24th. No further information has been reported.
