Groveland, NY – Five Injured in Collision Involving Sheriff’s Deputy

Groveland, NY (May 8, 2019) – A serious crash in Livingston County was reported to have resulted in the injuries of five people including a sheriff’s deputy on Tuesday afternoon, May 7^th. According to police, the two-vehicle accident took place around 3:00 p.m. on Route 408.

Sheriff’s deputies stated that a patrol cruiser collided with a minivan along the aforementioned road near Groveland Station Road for reasons that have not been confirmed. The minivan, which was carrying four occupants, was reported to have gone off the road due to the impact of the collision. Police and emergency medical crews were quickly dispatched to the scene.
