Briarcliff Manor, NY (May 7, 2019) – A man was tragically died after crashing into a vehicle on his motorcycle Saturday, May 4th, has now been identified by police. 28-year-old Raudys Motagarcia was reported to have collided with another vehicle at approximately 7:38 p.m. on the Taconic State Parkway, according to authorities.
Police stated that Motagarcia was traveling south along the parkway when he crashed into the back of a car operated by an unidentified 18-year-old male driver. Motagarcia struck the vehicle as the driver was moving from the center lane to exit the parkway via Exit 6 to Pleasantville Road and was thrown from the bike. He was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene.
According to authorities, no charges have been filed against the driver of the vehicle involved, although the investigation into the events that led to this incident is currently ongoing. No further details have been provided at this time.
