Huntington Station, NY: Officer Among Three Injured in Collision

Huntington Station, NY (May 6, 2019) – On Sunday night, May 6th, authorities responded to the scene of a traffic collision that resulted in the injuries of three people, including a Suffolk police officer. The accident happened at an unspecified time on Walt Whitman Road.
Police stated that the officer involved had been traveling along Walt Whitman Road, following an ambulance with its lights and sirens activated. According to authorities, an unspecified vehicle pulled out of the Walt Whitman Mall parking lot and subsequently crashed into the police SUV. Responders were promptly called to the scene following the crash.
