Woodbury, NY – Fatal Head-on Collision on Route 6 Takes Two Lives

Woodbury, NY (May 5, 2019) – Around 11:30 p.m. on Friday night, police responded to the scene of a fatal head-on collision that took place on Route 6 around the Long Mountain Parkway.
Police say that, after the two vehicles collided, they both burst into flames. The stretch of the highway remained closed for quite some time.
The details of the deceased or why one of the vehicles crossed the line is not known at this time, but police are taking a closer look.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
