Plattsburgh, NY: Man Injured in Two-Car Crash at 485 State Route 3

Plattsburgh, NY (May 4, 2019) – Police say that a man from Plattsburgh was injured in a two-car crash that took place at 485 State Route 3 on Tuesday of this week.
At the time, police confirmed that 28-year-old Nathan Amato had been turning out of a parking lot in the area in his Toyota when he failed to yield the right-of-way and collided with a 2015 Ford Fusion driven by a 28-year-old man.
The second driver who was struck was taken to the University of Vermont Health Network to be treated for an arm injury but is expected to recover.
Amato received a ticket for failing to yield. The investigation into the accident continues at this time.
