Pittsford, NY: At Least One Hurt in Vehicle Accident on I-490

Pittsford, NY (May 3, 2019) – A motor vehicle accident that resulted in at least minor injuries took place on Friday afternoon, May 3rd, according to authorities. Police stated that the crash occurred at approximately 1:23 p.m. along Interstate 490 for reasons that are currently being investigated.
Dispatchers sent emergency medical crews alongside police to the crash site in the eastbound lanes of the interstate at Route 31 to evaluate damages and assist any victims. Paramedics who arrived at the scene were able to verify that at least one person had been hurt in the crash. However, the severity of that victims’ injuries has not been confirmed.
At this time, police have not released any information concerning the number of people involved but no more than two cars are suspected to have played a role in the collision. Investigators are currently working to determine the events that led to this incident.
