Greece, NY: Police and Paramedics Dispatched to Crash on Dewey Ave

Greece, NY (May 2, 2019) – Police were able to verify that at least minor injuries occurred as the result of a motor vehicle accident that took place on Thursday afternoon, May 2nd, on Dewey Avenue. At this time, no more than two vehicles are believed to have played a role in the accident that happened at 4:22 p.m. for reasons that have not been confirmed.
According to police, dispatchers sent emergency medical personnel to the crash site in the north and southbound lanes of Dewey Avenue at Dalston Road to assist any injured parties. At least one person was reported to have been hurt in the collision. However, the seriousness of those injuries has not been stated.
Authorities are not releasing any information concerning the number of people involved or the cause of the crash at this time. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
