Irondequoit, NY: Auth. Confirm Injuries Following Crash on Carter St

Irondequoit, NY (April 29, 2019) – On Monday morning, April 29th, police and emergency medical crews were summoned to the scene of a traffic collision that took place around 9:55 a.m. Authorities stated that the crash, which is believed to have involved no more than two vehicles at this time, happened along Carter Street for reasons that have not been determined.
According to police, dispatchers sent responders to the scene in the northbound/southbound lanes of Carter Street at East Ridge Road to assist the parties involved in the crash. At the scene, paramedics were able to confirm that at least one person suffered injuries. However, the severity of those injuries has not been reported.
Police have not released any further information concerning the number of people involved or the cause of this incident. The events that led to the accident are actively being investigated.
