Manhattan, NY – Man Struck in Train Accident at Lexington Avenue Station

Manhattan, NY (April 28, 2019) – Around 4:00 a.m. yesterday, April 27th, a man was struck in a train accident that took place at the Lexington Avenue station at 103rd Street.
Police are not yet sure what caused the victim to land on the train tracks. Multiple witnesses say that the victim fell in some way, but police have not yet been able to confirm how that happened.
As per photographs from the scene, an ambulance was present and the victim was loaded into the back so that they could be transported to the hospital. The victim was injured but we do not know their condition at this time.
Police continue the circumstances leading up to the accident.
