Plattsburgh, NY: Two-Car Accident on Rugar Street Leads to Injuries

Plattsburgh, NY (April 27, 2019) – Police responded to the scene of a two-car accident that took place on Rugar Street that led to injuries in one person.
At the time, 51-year-old Shirley Leblanc was traveling on Rugar Street in her Chrysler when Alexa Baignosche turned her Jetta into the path of Leblanc’s vehicle. Leblanc was unable to avoid the Jetta and the two forcefully collided with one another.
Biagnosche was brought to the hospital with a head injury but is expected to recover. Leblanc received minor neck pains.
Biagnosche was ticketed for failing to yield the right-of-way when entering a roadway.
