Olean, NY – Two-Vehicle Bicycle Crash on Main Street Leads to Injuries

Olean, NY (April 27, 2019) – On Monday, around 9:17 a.m., one person was injured in a two-vehicle bicycle crash that took place on Main Street, near Higgins Avenue.
50-year-old Sadie Jay-Edwards allegedly backed into a bicycle that was operated by 60-year-old Robert Sirotski. At the time, police say that Sirotski was traveling on the sidewalk.
Sirotski was immediately ejected from the bicycle due to the collision. Jay-Edwards told police that she never moved her vehicle, which was not the case.
Sirotski said that the accident was caused by another vehicle. Now, police continue their investigation into the accident.
