Floyd, NY – 78-Year-Old Injured in Car Accident on Route 49

Floyd, NY (April 27, 2019) – Authorities responded to the scene of a rollover car accident that took place around 11:00 a.m. on Friday morning and caused injuries to one.

The crash completely damaged the driver’s vehicle as it rolled over. Luckily, authorities mentioned that the driver is expected to make a recovery.

The accident, which took place on Route 49, caused injuries to Frank Tallarino. He was involved in a crash, where his vehicle then rolled onto its roof in the median of the highway.

Upon further investigation, the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office said that Tallarino’s vehicle collided with the rear-end of a dump truck for reasons that are not yet known.

Tallarino was taken to the hospital with back pain but the driver of the dump truck was not injured.

The investigation into the accident continues at this time.
