Cheektowaga, NY – 21-Year-Old Woman Killed in Crash at Intersection

Cheektowaga, NY (April 24, 2019) – A Buffalo woman was reported to have been killed in a two-car crash that took place at an intersection on Tuesday night, April 23^rd. According to Cheektowaga police, the tragically fatal accident occurred at the intersection of Rossler Avenue and Dingens Street just after 8:00 p.m.

According to police, an unidentified 22-year-old woman was traveling north along Rossler Avenue at a high rate of speed when she blew through a red light at the intersection with Dingens Street. The vehicle she had been operating, identified as a 2010 Honda Accord, subsequently collided with a 2016 Chevrolet Equinox operated by a 29-year-old woman from Cheektowaga.

Emergency responders were immediately called to the scene, where an unidentified 21-year-old passenger in the Accord was ejected from the vehicle. That passenger was tragically pronounced deceased at the scene. There has been no further information provided regarding the other parties involved, as the accident is under active investigation.
