Rotterdam, NY (April 22, 2019) – According to police, a motor vehicle crashed into a home after taking out a sign on Monday afternoon, April 22nd, resulting in at least minor injuries. Authorities stated that the vehicle, which had been transporting two seniors, crashed into a home located on Curry Road at an unspecified time.
Police stated that a Rotterdam town employee had been transporting two senior citizens in an unspecified vehicle when the axle broke. The vehicle subsequently slammed into a sign before crashing into the corner of a small grey home at the aforementioned location.
Police and emergency medical crews were immediately dispatched to the crash site, where the two passengers were quickly transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The driver of the vehicle was uninjured and the town’s building inspector is currently investigating the damage done to the home.
