Tupper Lake, NY (April 20, 2019) – Around 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, police responded to the scene of a motorcycle crash that occurred on Main and Pine Streets.
Police say that the vehicle and a motorcycle collided with one another. The roadway was closed down for several hours after the accident.
One witness spoke with police and claimed that the accident happened when the motorcyclist had been traveling on Main Street and the car was exiting Pine Street, causing the two to collide at the intersection.
Multiple witnesses told police that, when the vehicles collided, it sounded like a “bomb went off.”
The names of those injured were not released just yet, but the motorcyclist and a passenger in the motor vehicle were injured and taken to the Adirondack Medical Center.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances leading up to the accident.
