Brooklyn, NY (April 20, 2019) – Police responded to the scene of a bicycle accident that they claim took place on Ditmas Avenue involving another vehicle that led to injuries.
At the time of the accident, a teenager had been riding their bike on Ditmas Avenue when they were suddenly struck by a vehicle. The driver quickly fled the scene of the accident.
The 16-year-old, whose name was not released, had been cycling at Ditmas Avenue close to the area of 37th Street when he was suddenly struck by the vehicle. EMS came with an ambulance and gave treatment to the boy, who is expected to be okay.
Police are still searching for the driver. At this time, their investigation into the accident continues.
