Lancaster, NY (April 15, 2019) – According to police, a 39-year-old man has pleaded guilty after being arrested on charges of sexual conduct against a child. Shannon Vickers, of Lancaster, was arrested after an investigation found that he had engaged sexual contact with a minor female, according to authorities.
Investigators in Lancaster stated that Vickers sexually abused the victim on several occasions between December 2017 and June 2018. The suspect was eventually arrested and charged with sexual conduct against a child. On Monday, April 15th, Vickers pleaded guilty to one count of course of sexual conduct against the minor.
Neither the age nor the identity of the victim has been released but Vickers will face up to 25 years in prison for his crimes. He has been remanded without bail and is due to be sentenced on May 31st. No further details have been provided.
