Bellport, NY (April 9, 2019) – According to authorities, a fire was reported to have broken out at a home on Monday, April 9th. The blaze, which started at an unspecified time, was stated to have occurred at a house on Pace Avenue.
Firefighters were immediately dispatched along with emergency medical crews to extinguish the fire and provide aid to any injured parties. According to fire officials, everyone who had been inside the home when the fire occurred was able to make it out safely, although two people were reported to have suffered at least minor injuries.
Paramedics confirmed that two victims suffered smoke inhalation during the incident; however, there were no details released pertinent to hospitalization. At this time, authorities are conducting a thoroughly detailed investigation into the cause of the fire. No further information has been provided.
