Rochester, NY (March 22, 2019) – A story concerning a motor vehicle accident that took place on Friday morning, March 22nd, has now been updated with further details. The crash that took place along Genesee Street and Clifton Street has now been verified to have involved a total of four vehicles and the hospitalization of one of the drivers involved.
The collision was reported to have occurred around 11:15 a.m. between two SUVs, a van, and a sedan. Police stated that a sedan had been sitting southbound at the intersection in an attempt to turn left onto Clifton Street when it was struck from behind by a vehicle identified as a Kia SUV. The impact of the collision sent the sedan into a Chevrolet SUV and a van that were both facing north at the time.
Emergency medical crews and police arrived at the scene, where they transported the driver of one of the sedans to a nearby hospital with an upper-body injury. Police issued a ticket to the driver of the Kia SUV but no further details have been provided.
