Rochester, NY (March 19, 2019) – Police have reported at least minor injuries following a motor vehicle accident that took place along Interstate 590 in the city of Rochester. The crash was stated to have occurred at around 9:50 a.m. on Tuesday morning, March 19, according to local authorities.
Emergency medical crews were dispatched to the crash site along the interstate at Route 31 to assist any injured parties. Paramedics at the scene were able to verify that at least one person had suffered injuries, however, the seriousness of the victims’ condition has not been stated. Police have not reported on the number of people involved in the crash.
According to authorities, no more than two vehicles are thought to have played a role in the collision which resulted in traffic backing up to Highland Avenue. Police are likely to be conducting a thorough investigation into the events that led to this incident.
