Watervliet, NY (March 15, 2019) – Police are currently in the process of investigating a personal injury accident that occurred between a motor vehicle and a pedestrian on Thursday evening, March 14. According to local authorities, the accident happened at an unspecified time in the vicinity of 3rd Avenue and 6th Street in the town of Watervliet.
While details concerning the events that led to the incident have not been provided at this time, police have stated that one vehicle appears to have been involved. The collision is presently believed to have happened when the vehicle struck a pedestrian but it is unknown as to whether or not the injured party had been in a crosswalk at the time.
